The Green Square Public School and Community Spaces project in Zetland is a major education facility delivered by Hutchinson Builders as part of the broader Green Square redevelopment precinct in Sydney.

Located on Zetland Avenue, the four-storey school provides modern learning spaces for up to 600 students along with community facilities designed to support the rapidly growing Green Square neighbourhood.

The Australian Caulking Company was engaged to complete internal and external sealant works across key building interfaces, supporting the long-term performance of the building envelope.

Scope of Sealant Works

Our team carried out sealant installation across multiple areas of the building including both internal and external construction interfaces.

Key works included:

• Window perimeter sealing
• Skirting and internal wall junctions
• External GRC panel joints
• Cladding interfaces
• Façade expansion joints
• Removal and replacement of existing sealant where required

Sealant installation across these areas helps maintain the building envelope by preventing water ingress while allowing movement between structural materials.

• Sika Redwood sealant
• Sika Concrete Grey sealant
• Closed cell backing rod systems to control joint depth
