AusCaulking completed a detailed internal caulking package at Birrong Public School, covering everything from window perimeters and bathrooms through to vinyl floor junctions, skirtings, ceilings and door frames.

The challenge was not simply completing the joints. It was making each one sit cleanly within the surrounding finish so the caulking became part of the completed fitout rather than something that stood out from it.

The works were delivered as a lump-sum package by a focused two-person team over several consecutive days, allowing the internal caulking scope to be completed efficiently as part of the wider school fitout program.

Rather than treating each area as an isolated task, the package brought multiple internal caulking requirements under one scope, helping maintain consistency across the finished building.

The broad colour range was important on this project. Different sealants were matched to the surrounding finishes so joints could blend naturally into vinyl, frames, walls and other architectural elements.

The Detail

The Detail Was in the Transitions

Bathrooms, shower areas, windows, vinyl flooring, skirtings, ceilings and door frames all required slightly different handling, yet the final result still needed to feel consistent throughout the school.

That meant careful product selection, clean joint lines and attention to colour matching across a relatively compact construction program.
