Project Overview
AusCaulking completed external caulking and re-sealing across Green Square School’s courtyards, playgrounds, and stair junctions. Constant daily foot traffic and weather exposure had worn down existing sealant joints. AusCaulking assessed the site, removed damaged materials, and reinstated high-durability seals tailored to each specific substrate and movement point. These works restored weatherproofing, enhanced safety, and extended the structural integrity of the school’s high-traffic outdoor areas.

The Detail
The main challenge was completing remedial caulking across exposed, high-traffic areas while maintaining clean finishes and protecting surrounding substrates during removal of the existing sealant.
External conditions also required careful planning around access and weather to ensure joints were properly prepared before new sealant was installed.
This project highlights AusCaulking’s experience in external remedial caulking, where proper removal, preparation and re-sealing are critical to long-term performance.
